Recommended for welding engineering-grade cast iron when machinability is the most important end requirement. Deposits have excellent machinability in all-positions especially on thin section castings. Sound, dense deposits are porous-free. High nickel alloy for joining and overlaying casting, weld deposits are readily machinable.Applications: Excellent for repairing lathe beds and ways, bushings, gearboxes and cast iron die bodies.
