Low aggressive characteristics of the polyamide fibres and the positive effect of the abrasive non-woven materials create brilliant smooth finished surfaces. Non-woven abrasive material of PFERD convolute wheels is wrapped around a core and enclosed in foam. Foam packing supports the non-woven fleece and controls its service life and grinding behaviour. Excellent for edge rounding, and matte finishing of planar surfaces.
