Are you planning to transport your dry ice in a vehicle? Use extreme caution – it’s easy to be overcome by CO2 vapors without warning. If you are transporting in a passenger vehicle, limit the amount of dry ice to small quantities and open all windows-yes, even in the coldest of winter! Secure the container in a trunk or truck bed. Do not store dry ice in an airtight container – it needs to be able to vent.
