TIG Welding

GTAW (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding) formerly known as TIG (Tungsten inert gas) welding, uses a tungsten electrode that delivers current to the welding arc, and the tungsten and weld are protected and cooled with an inert gas, such as Argon. TIG welding uses an electric torch, and then the weld hand-feeds filler rod into the weld puddle.

S.J. Smith carries the TIG welding power sources you need, from several manufacturers, as well as TIG torches, ground cables, clamps, cups, filler rod, Argon gas, regulators, as well as protective safety equipment including helmets, welding lenses, gloves and apparel.

Call your account manager, email us, or call S.J. Smith at 563-324-5237 for more information on how to choose the best TIG welding system for you.
